PATRON REVIEWS
See what our patrons are saying about the Kids Programs at Hudson Public Library
My kids absolutely love the programs at the library! Every week they look forward to coming, whether it’s storytime, crafts, or special events. The activities are fun and creative, but they also sneak in so much learning. I really appreciate how welcoming and patient the staff are they make every child feel included. It’s been such a wonderful way for my kids to build confidence, make friends, and get excited about reading!

Kids Programs FAQs
Registration is required for some of our programs. You can register online by finding the program you’re interested in on our Events page and registering directly on the individual event page. You can also give us a call or stop by the front desk to register.
Children 11 years old and younger must be supervised at all times by a responsible person who is at least 16 years old. Children aged 12 and older may use the library without a parent or guardian for a reasonable amount of time, as long as they demonstrate appropriate behavior. Please note that library staff are not responsible for supervising children, and parents or guardians will be contacted if any issues arise. If a child is left at the library after closing and a parent or guardian cannot be reached, local authorities will be contacted.
We offer storytimes, craft programs, STEM activities, summer reading programs, and seasonal events. Program schedules are available at the library or on the Events page of our website.
All library programs are free to attend, though registration may be required due to limited space.
If you need to cancel your child’s registration, please contact the library as soon as possible. You can call, email, or stop by the front desk to let us know. You can also cancel through the library’s website. Giving us advance notice helps us open the spot to another child who may be on the waitlist.
